Festivamente Effects
Festivamente Effects is a collection of original DSP effects, instruments, and utility units for the ER-301 hardware and Emulator. Support for ffx in ER-301 for VCV Rack is currently available on Apple Silicon. The collection currently includes 29 units.
Units
Effects
- BitCrush — Reduces digital resolution for stepped, degraded textures.

- SoftClip — Six soft clip distortion algorithms based on this DAFx paper.

- Band Spreader — Spectral spreading for widening and reshaping a signal.
- Compressor — Dynamic-range control for tightening and leveling audio.
- Exciter — Adds upper-harmonic emphasis and brightness.

- Shaper — Transient waveshaping for altering harmonic character. Consider using with Just Friends by Whimsical Raps to help give punch to changing notes!

- Fuzz Box — Heavy clipping and fuzz-style distortion.
- Lo-Fi Filter — Filtering with an intentionally rough, degraded character. Inspired by the Instant Lo-Fi Junky by ZVEX.

- Grotesque Filter — Aggressive resonant filtering for exaggerated coloration. Inspired by the Plague Bearer by Flight of Harmony.

- Comb — Comb filtering for resonant and metallic textures.

- Flanger — Short modulated delay for classic flanging effects.

- Freeze — Captures and sustains a moment of audio as a frozen texture.

- Leslie Cabinet — Rotating-speaker-style modulation and movement.

- Reverse Tape Delay — Delay with reversed, tape-inspired repeats.

- Pitch Shifter — One-, two-, or three-voice pitch-shifted layering.

- Unison — Layered detuned voices for thickness and stereo spread.

- Tap Delay — Multi-tap delay for rhythmic and spatial echoes.
Instruments
- Pluck — A compact plucked-string synthesis voice.

- Morpho — Inspired by the Morphagene by Make Noise Music.

- Kick — Synthesized bass-drum voice.
- Snare — Synthesized snare-drum voice.
- HiHat — Synthesized hi-hat voice.
- Tom — Synthesized tom voice.
- Cowbell — Synthesized cowbell voice.
- Cymbal — Synthesized cymbal voice.
Utility
- Wet/Dry — The ER-301's Custom Unit with added wet/dry. Allow yourself the benefit of chaining effects with the option to control them via CV, i2c, or with internal automation.

- Cat — An image of a cat. Enjoy!
