About Festivamente

Festivamente is an independent music software company focused on tools for composition, performance, and musical exploration, run by Jeff Triggs, a composer and software developer from Madison, New Jersey. Beginning as a percussionist, pianist, and composer, he became interested in the opportunities electronics offered composers, particularly the ability to overcome one of composition’s most frustrating problems: actually getting to hear your music played.

But hearing the music is only part of the problem. Not all software can accommodate every musical idea. Conjure up a particularly complex compositional idea and you may discover that the tools required to realize it simply do not exist. Festivamente is meant as an antidote to this. Jeff’s mission in software is to find those missing pieces and create tools that help musicians reach musical ideas they might otherwise have no practical way to realize.
